Hi, new to the forum, just finished reading through the pool school. I'm taking down a pool and deck that comes with everything but chemicals, and will hopefully be installing it in my yard this spring. It's going to be quite a project tearing down and reassembling, but it's a great deal (free) My yard is sloped, so I've been reading some of the articles and forum posts about partially burying the pool, and I'm feeling much more confident about it having read them. Don't forget to get yourself a good test kit. It's a must have. I use the TF-100. Best kit around IMO.

Let's hold off on buying a lot of chem's for right now, especially the chlorine tabs. I would like to see you using liquid chlorine (bleach) for your chlorination needs. You could also go the SWG route also.
When your pool is up and your ready to fill it we'll get you started off on the right foot. Do yourself a big favor and get yourself a good test kit ordered. It's a must have for a trouble free pool.
In the mean time do all the reading you can in pool school and the links I provided you with. Read it a couple of times and let it sink in ! ?
 
I would also read up on any and all above ground pool builds in the Above Ground Pool section of the forum. You're on a slope and a few of us have had the pleasure of working with them. :mrgreen:
