Sonos dropping support for most of my stuff

I wonder if this whole thing was just a marketing scam. It doesn't take a genius in any industry to anticipate what the public response would be after an announcement like that...

My guess is they come up with a "miracle" to allow the old and new to coexist together... anything for their loyal customers

That is the reason why I have separate AV systems. Good old school stuff. I have a Yamaha Adventage RX-860 for my patio?pool area and a separate Yamaha Adventage RX-780 for my living room. I had considered Sonos however it is very expensive
