Solar sun squares

Anyone using the solar sun squares from doheny ? Is it working ? Looking for a way to save chlorine and to heat the water with the sun. I have a kidney shape pool.

Any reason not to use a standard solar blanket? We just got one to keep the heat in our pool from our heater. Still need to do the final trim but right now our pool is 80 and it’s 41 degrees outside

Agree. I might just build them myself if I take this direction. Using Swing Pipe for Sprinkler, plastic sheets, barbed coupled and cable tie. For the sale surface I will cut the cost by 5.

You buy a rectangular or whatever shape fits over your pool and then trim it. Easy.

Not sure how thick your cover is Marty? I got a really thick one, hoping to make it last a good 5 years or so.

I got the cheapest one. They all last about the same amount of time.

I have found good deals on solar covers at my local pool store sometimes. They often put them on sale as a loss leader to get people into the store in the beginning of the season.
