Solar Reel Cover

Just recently bought a 30’ x 18’ splash-a-round pool. The solar cover is massive and heavy. I’m getting a reel installed on the 26th. It’s the one in the picture. Will it hold that heavy weight? Does anyone have a reel for a pool like this? Is this the solution?

Pretty sure your pool doesn't have the top vinyl ledges to install that type on.

One solution is to put a 4X4 " pressure-treated post in the ground at each side and attach the bracket mounts to it.

If the reel won't work, another option is to cut the cover into two or three manageable sections.

As is mentioned in the video, the reel should be closer to the pool, but otherwise, it's perfect!
I would suggest a sliding piece of wood on the side of the 4X4 on the right to lock the handle.
