Solar cover reel clips?

My plastic clips that attach my solar cover to its reel keep popping off. Does anyone have any recs on reinforced ones that will hold onto the cover better and last longer?

I had a reel at my last house. The clips either popped loose or broke. I found some nylon screws and nuts (I think they were license plate screws). I drilled through the plastic clips and secured them with the screws.
