Solar cover recommendations

Are there any recommendations when choosing a solar cover? Company? Thickness? Color?

Anything hard and fast that is helpful? I know they don’t last terribly long but there is a range in pricing ...

Typically cheapest you can find. At best you get two seasons. Then replace.

I bought one from Sun2Solar. Typical bubble wrap. Got what I expected. Color is up to you. The cover keeps the pool from losing heat overnight. It does not really help add heat during the day.

+1 to what Marty said, the costlier ones don't really last much longer. Don't be lured in by impressive sounding warranty coverage of the more expensive ones, they only cover relatively rare defects and are heavily pro-rated.
