Solar cover part of SLAM?

Had a very small amount of algae show. Since it's the beginning of the season, SLAM has commenced. I'm a day+ in, water is clear, CC is zero, did consume FC overnight, so not done.

Since my solar cover was on the water when algae was present, should I keep in on during the SLAM process? It's been exposed to algae as well.
Is there a better way to take care of the cover? I could hose is off, but that isn't going to be as thorough I fear.
I guess I could also leave it rolled up on the reel and let the sun heat it up, but I don't think it will get hot enough.

Thanks!

You can leave the cover on at night but the water should get some UV impact during daylight hours. I would suspect any algae on the cover has been dealt with if you have had it on during the SLAM for any appreciable amount of time.
