I just installed a Pentair EasyTouch PSL4 controller system and the solar panel actuator valve does not open when the pool pump is running. The actuator is plugged in at VLV A location on the Circuit Board. Heat = Solar. What should the Valve be set to? Thanks!

easy touch 8 and solar control
How much automation can I get out of the solar control from the easy touch 8 control box? I have install the solar sensor and Actuator for the diverter valve. doesn't seem to do much. except i can push the solar button and the actuator valve moves. I could have did that by hand. Solar is...

I am not sure that the pump has anything to do with the Solar valve turning.
It should turn based upon the system calling for heat. What do you have your heat set-point set for?
Valve A should be assigned to "Solar Active"
Do you have Screen Logic?

Yes the solar sensor is installed and Heat is set to 90 (water temp is 78). And valve A is set to Solar Active. Yes I have Screenlogic2.
