I gotta say, I love the glowing tile. There's no exif data but if your camera will allow full manual mode I'd crank the aperature wide open and hold the shutter open several seconds at an ISO of about 800 or so. You'll want to trip the shutter with a remote or use the timer function.

Ok, it's full of water and I'm sweeping the plaster and balancing water. I hope this is an inspiration to all the people that would like to "do it themselves" but are un-sure. I figured I've saved half of what it would have cost to have someone else do the work.With exception of the infrastructure needs, it took me 10 weeks start to finish.

Well done BigDav. It came out really nice and I love how the pavers are square to the pool but diagonal to the house. It looks great. It's nice seeing owner-builders pull off a project of this size.

Looks great Bigdav. Love the glow in the dark tile. I mentioned them to my wife and got a "are you crazy" look. May have to put them in and plead ignorance when they magically glow next spring.
