What is the best route to go in order to get my pool balanced again? A 1lb bag of Clorox 6 in 1 shock was put in it and I tested it today and the ph is low and the chlorine is off the chart.. help! we are new pool owners...

With that size pool we normally recommend you treat it as a Guide for Seasonal/Temporary Pools - Trouble Free Pool. Read the article for instruction.
Right now, the FC will burn off in a few. The pH will rise most likely. Use PoolMath to see the effects on the water from the dichlor.
You added 1 lb of dichlor I suspect. Check the package. Also be ware of '6 n 1" products. They add copper. Turns blonde hair and fingernails green.
