Hi all,

1 year old 10000 gallon pool and I’m suddenly getting water bubbles from return jets. (Video 1 was filmed at night, apologies for the loud toad!)

Video 2

So far I have checked:

1. Water is at correct level.

2. Pump basket is seated correctly (no visible air in basket) and seal seems to be good.

3. Bubbles disappear when pump is increased to max and decreased again. (I’m at around half - 1700rpm)

4. Filter pressure (cartridge) is nominal.

5. I have an SWG, but bubbles appear regardless if it’s chlorinating or not.

6. Cannot see any leaks from unions.

What should I try next? Many thanks.

Those bubbles look very much like hydrogen from the SWCG.

Turn off the SWCG for an hour. See if they disappear.
