I have an old fiberglass slide and want to restore the finish. Was going to powerwash it first. Other than something from the local pool store has anyone else ever used anything better or cheaper?

My first thought is to contact a couple of boat stores and ask them who does a great job of refinishing gel coat, as it is the outer finish on fiberglass boats also. That's the most common fiberglass repair business that I can think of. You'll probably have to remove the slide and take it in to the shop for them to work on it.
