Slamming pool, added too much chlorine

Hey guys:
I am in the process of slamming the pool, my CYA is between 20-30, PH 7.4 and my FC was at 4.0---I was trying to get my pool up to 12 and I must have miscalculated and it is at 20 currently. Should I add some CYA to counteract the chlorine a bit ? Is that enough chlorine to hurt my liner ? Thanks in advance for any replies.

The FC will fall soon enough on its own back down to 12. No worries. But you do need to ensure you have a CYA of at least 30. If it looks low, add another 10 ppm worth of stabilizer.
