SLAMMING Going Slow

I went on vacation and came back to a green pool. I did a water test with these results:
Ph 7.2
FC 5
TC .5
Alk 75
Cal Hardness 475
Cya 65
Salt 4000
Temp 78

So I started the SLAm process using powdered trichlor instead of liquid chlorine and raised the FC to 28-30 for 4 days with the pump running 24/7. Also brushed the pool several times a day and ran the waterfall to aerate. The pool is still cloudy, but not green. Any suggestions?

Using trichlor you are raising your CYA.
How much have you used.
If the pool is no longer green, but cloudy, you are seeing the progression.
Check your current CYA, use liquid chlorine, and follow the SLAM Process

Thanks again everyone for the advice. Unfortunately, draining the pool is not an option in my situation, so how about adding more chlorine? The TFP SLAM chart says that if I raise the the FC to around 35, the process should work. That would be about 8 gallons of chlorine, according to Pool Math. Since we will not be using the pool for several months, I am not concerned about the high FC. Any reason why this would not work?
