Checked the pool again this morning and found a 3ppm loss and less than .5 CC. I go back to work tomorrow and won't have much of a chance to stop by the house to add chlorine to keep SLAM levels up. This might be problematic.
I did notice this morning that there was a lot more debris than usual in the skimmer basket and a layer of oil that had collected. Not sure where that would have came from. I’m thinking maybe that has a lot to do with the drop overnight?
It occurred to me that I never checked behind the return nozzle and what do you know... I found a thin layer of green algae hiding. I cleaned it and put it back on. That being said what do you think the chances are that more could be hiding in the return line? Especially since I found some in the suction line from the slimmer to the pool liner.
