SLAM questions

I've read (I think) all the basics but have a couple of questions about the SLAM process:

1) How long does it take freshly added LQ to dissolve in the pool. In other words, how long after adding do I get an accurate reading on the new levels of FC/CC?

2) Once the desired level of FC is reached, how long should it remain there before letting it drop? For example, if my target FC is 22, should I maintain it that high throughout a sunny day so that the overnight loss test is based on 22?

1) With the pool circulating, you should see accurate test results within 30 minutes.

2) Do the best you can to MAINTAIN the SLAM rate from start to finish.
