Can some one tell me why the Chlorine/. CYA chart for SWG pools say 60 CYA Is NOT recommended? I usually keep my pool around 60 CYA...that is within the acceptable levels?
In most pools with a SWCG, and I know it is true of mine, if my CYA drops to 60 ppm my FC loss jumps, alot. If I have the CYA at 70-80, the FC loss is much less.
Maybe your pool is different. But our recommended levels are built not only on science but on years of data from pool owners, like your self.
If you are satisfied with your FC loss each day with your CYA at 60, leave it.
