Hi all,
first of all, thanks for all of your help on previous threads. I have been following and learning tons. Have a situation I need help with.
I have a 37000 gallon plaster pool. Been managing myself but fighting green algae on walls for the better part of a couple months. I shock with 6 balls of cal hypo and It goes away for a few days and then just comes back.
I’m pretty sure I need to slam. My water is always clear though. Just algae on walls and steps. Algae I believe is eating up my chlorine to the point where now I’m questioning whether my SWG is working.
FC 0
CC has been very high at 8-10 ever since I did a copper and scale treatment earlier this year.

If SLAM is needed. Would you agree I need to add roughly 8 gallons of 10% bleach to the pool to get FC to 20?
Thank you all once again
