SLAM levels - effects in readings?

Quick question, I’ve read in the past that high FC levels affects pH readings.
Does it affects any of the other tests? Alkalinity, Calcium, CYA?

No, only pH.

During a SLAM - we suggest you only test FC until your pool water is crystal clear. Then do a CC test in the morning after an OCLT.

I read that as don’t do a FC test until after the water is clear. Of cause what Marty said is don’t bother with the other tests while SLAMing, test and adjust your FC as often as you can during a SLAM.
