SLAM Issue

I wasn’t going to be here today to test periodically. That’s why.
I understand your thinking, but please don't do that. Do not dose about SLAM level FC. If you won't be there, then raise to SLAM, leave, then raise to SLAM level FC after testing when you get back.

I get it. Appreciate the insight. This has just been a weird slam. It’s fought back hard. I hope I’m right that the cover was the main issue. Wanted to prioritize not falling below the level.

Passed at 43 FC AND .5 cc this am. Meeting all 3 I believe at this point. Today would be day 6.

Lesson learned - do not let the cover and box develop so badly. My son and I have a process down on the box now, involves spraying a hose from the end where the motor sits and spraying (post-scrub, used Dawn and Simple Green) to a shop vac on the receiving end.

Many have. But slam was designed to find the sweet spot between sanitizing and excessive burn off. When folks go over, they lose too much FC and the extra doesn't last like it seemed it would. A couple hours in and your probably where you didn't want to be in the first place. That point is well above min and was making progress just the same.

Its a $12 a day mistake and you won't lose your house over it, but Lord knows you're already lugging and dumping plenty of jugs. No need to do more for funsies.
