skimmer had a hole in bottom before Gunite

Not sure if this a concern but i just now noticed this,,,,, should i epoxy it i have j b weld marine / and will or could this be a future problem? i do not close pool so water will never be much below 55-60 deg .Thanks for input as always.

Unless it just really eats at you, if it's not leaking now, I'd just leave it. No sense messing with a good thing. No one will see it but you. Just monitor it for a while. At some point, if that putty or whatever it is begins to break loose, then you could clean it up with something a bit more reliable. Hopefully not in Dec - Feb.

Is that a hole for a screw for one of those flap or movable diverters? There plastic and can move to partially close on the of the holes...

At a minimum I would put a stainless screw in it with some silicone seal. Others might have better ideas.
