Does anyone use those Skim-Around skimmer baskets that are suppose to increase the surface water cleaning? Do they work? I have a dog that loves to swim, and gets hair in the pool.

I bought one but my filter was bad and it didn't work right. I need to put it in again now that my filter has been changed. I will post again after I try it and let you know.

Using hair nets or skimmer socks on your skimmer basket is great for catching dog hair.
I had them and couldn't see that they did anything. I ended up shipping them off to a friend. I've heard more bad things about them than good. Skimmer socks are useful though.
