So i did the dye test. I used food coloring. As far as I can tell, the spec on the liner is not a hole. If it is, it leaks so slowly that I can't see the food coloring escaping out. So I guess the only way to find out is to drain the pool and see if there is water in that area under the liner. I'm trying to decide if I want to do it before I close it or just wait until the spring and fix it then.
