Hello, I'm a new pool owner and new to this site. Love it btw, tons of amazing info! I will be opening my pool this week but before I start testing my water should I get the pool up to temperature? Would that affect numbers being cold vs warm? Thanks!

Perhaps the one test that would be effected by chilly water would be your CYA test. For that, I'd bring the water indoors for about 30 min to an hour and let it get to room temperature before going back outside under a sunny/clear sky and performing the actual test. The other tests should be okay. Hope that helps.

Oh, and welcome to the forum!
