Hi!
I live in Central Texas, where the sun/uv is intense and hot!
Should my FC be stopping by 2.5ppm over the course of 2 hours?

Gallons: 1715
Sand filter pump
Current chemical levels attached.

I also live in Austin and have a 2 month old pool so I don't have a lot of data yet. With that said I have been losing 3-4 PPM in a 24 hour period on sunny days. The pool gets about 8-9 hours of direct sunlight daily. I use only liquid chlorine, don't have a SWCG and my CYA is 30-40.

Yes! That's the same for me! I've had our pool since March, and see the same thing! There have been a few people who have said it's impossible, but they live in the northern US.

I loose about 3-4ppm per day in south Texas as well, now my cya is over 80 from using tabs during the liquid chlorine shortage even after a water change last week.
This means I am having to keep my daily FC around 8 to keep the algae at bay, but my water is Crystal otherwise, that and I installed a homeade fountain to raise PH and lower temp.

FC=4.4 at 7:00pm last bleach added previous day at 7pm
CC=0
PH 7.6
TA=100ppm
CYA=80

So now I can calculate my pool requires around 1/2 gal of bleach per day with this cya level. Helps you to also purchase enough bleach to get through the season.

Some reading that might be of interest to you given your small pool.
