Shocking a pool

Hey Mike 👋
I have no idea your pool volume or cya level so its hard to say how effective that amount of liquid chlorine would be in your case. PoolMath can help you calculate additions.
One thing is for sure, If u have visible algae you need to follow the SLAM Process & the FC/CYA Levels.
Be aware It is not a one time addition of chlorine.
To do so you need an accurate test kit or you will just be wasting chemicals & possibly damaging your equipment/surfaces needlessly.
The tf-100 @ www.tftestkits.net or the Taylor k2006c can perform the tests needed to carry out a slam.
Also If you fill out your signature it helps others help u by having all your info without having to ask over & over.

You have not followed TFPC in the past. Do you plan to this time?
