First take a look at the video of them here:

There are two sheers. The one on the right is uneven on its right side. The one on the left is uneven on its left side. It didn't always used to be this bad, especially after the pool was built last year. It seems to have gotten a bit worse over time, which I find confusing. I'm not sure if this is a plumbing issue or what.

Is there a way I can make the sheers look more uniform and consistent, without the wild splashing water on the edge of each one?

Probably dirt got into the sheer and is affecting the water flow.

Does the manual give any cleaning procedure for the sheer water slot?

I don't have manuals for those. I assume the contractor threw them out without my consent. I'll refer to the shipping list and see if I can get a model number and find it online.

I have some heavy duty zip ties; I can try something like that. I'll get creative.

Do you have a filter on the sheer lines?
At first I was like "Wow your equipment pad looks just like mine!" :ROFLMAO: Impressive you remembered old photos I posted!

The only "filter" is the basket in the pump itself. But nothing other than that. I have seen big dirt chunks come out of the sheers after construction; so I figure maybe there was some dirt in the pipes when they glued it all together. I thought I had it all out, but maybe not. It's just weird that it's on the mirrored edges of the sheers and not in the middle or inconsistently placed. I thought maybe it was a plumbing/pressure issue.

The water isn't a pleasant 92F anymore, so I'll need to warm up my soul and jump in soon to do this more comfortably...
