My daughter is in process of installing a semi inground pool. The company has suggested she install mineral system. What’s your thought on her installing this system?
Pool owners frequently seek out "Chemical Free" alternatives to pool water sanitization. Many claims in favor of these systems and methods have been made (usually by the manufacturers of such systems) often without adequate scientific proof of their efficacy. Let's take a look at them and see...
So she tells the pool no to the mineral system and now they are telling her to install the frog system?? I am not up on all the new things as my pool was install in the 90’s. Is the frog system a no also??
No to the Frog as well - it is advertised as mineral based to lower the chlorine use. A salt water chlorine generator is what she wants. An appropriate level of chlorine per the Cyanuric Acid level and other water levels is the way you sanitize the water and keep algae out.
Thank u I felt that was the case with this company but wanted to make sure! I told her find a company that will just install her a pool and filtration and that’s all. This particular one keeps trying to sell this mineral or frog system and refuses to do anything different. Thank u for ur help!
