Sediment in bottom of AGP

We have a 10’ x 36” summer waves agp. Sediment collects st the bottom. What I find strange is that the sediment doesn’t seem to build up unless I run the pump. Any explanations?

it could be dirt, pollen, or dead algae that you do not see on the floor until the pump turns on and builds it up.... The filter on those pools are really not that good at filtering... when do you clean the filter?
