Second year opening, Small bit of guidance needed

I went through all the tests again and unfortunately I think my PH is around 6.8.

It says to add about 11 lbs of the borax to get to 7.6. What's the best method? Mix In a bucket of water and pour in front of a return?

Broadcast it and brush. Borax dissolves particularly well.


Only adjust PH in .4s though. The calculations are rough estimates and larger doses could be off by more.

Ok, so I'll add in X amount from 6.8 to 7.2 then retest.

Side note, I added salt on Friday to bring it up to 3200. It's 3000.

I know there is a + or - with this. Should I just retest it in a few days and add another 200 if needed?

Retest first, but you can add 200 more because we get a bunch of rain up here. If you overshoot a little it won't last long.

That's the worst case. If things go well it's perfectly at 3200.
