Hi the modes can changed either by the Seauto App or by pressing the switch button to change the modes. You should get a voice alert when you change the mode.

I have a Seauto crab that I purchased end of May 2024. It has been fine up to now. Today it decided to update the firmware and now the Seauto is in an infinite loop going quickly from blue to yellow then White light rapidly blinking. Then I get the message, from the crab that states "failed to update please retry". It no longer connect to my app. I have used another phone just in case it was my cell phone and the same thing happens. Has anyone ever had this Issue.

I'm stuck in the update, how do I factory reset, tried Taking out the battery. No help

Even took the battery out

Same problem, firmware update lost connection halfway through. Now it won't connect to bluetooth and says failed to update please retry in a loop. Did anyone figure this out? A factory reset maybe? Crab doesnt have a reset procedure in the owners manual....

Replying to my own post
I managed to join a Seauto group on facebook and there were quite a few folk with similar issues after failed update. One person reported they had updated with no issue by using the 'Smonet' app rather than the Seauto unlock app. Smonet rebadge the Crab and the app seems basically the same. My update using the 'Smonet' app worked without issue
