Search PoolMath logs

Generally: I use Notes a lot, I'd like to search them for past occurrences of things I put in notes. I imagine being able to filter and display only notes or only chemical additions would suffice. I can search my logs here pretty easily but it would be nice to do it out by the pool while using the app. I just couldn't figure out how to do it - I'm still used to being able to flip through my 5"x3" pocket notebook(s) and find what I want.
Specifically I wanted to see the last time I added water which I documented in a note.
And on a tangent: when viewing logs here, carriage returns in notes don't render as line breaks.

Just exported my logs and seems that might work but if there is a way to search while in the app I'd like know ... more convenient.
