Wanted to share that I had the same issue as described in this inactive post from 2022:
ScreenLogic Reads Status But Won't Send Changes to EasyTouch (Pics Included)
No resolution was provided by the original poster, so I wanted to share what solved it for me.
I had this same issue - I could "read" but not "write" to my system through the ScreenLogic app.
I also saw that my indoor wireless link was only blinking the "transmit" LED but not the "receive", and on the outdoor link it was the opposite - only the "receive" LED would blink.
I decided to connect my protocol adapter (using a very long ethernet cable from inside) directly to my control box outside to see whether one of the wireless links was the issue, but as I prepared to remove the connector from the wires from the protocol adapter so that I could wire them into the box, I noticed the yellow wire was broken (see attachment). I repaired that in 2 minutes and 2-way communication was restored!
This should have been one of the first things I checked before preparing to make things complicated for myself.
