Screen Logic Schedule Issue

Hi, I have a schedule set for my pump. It is set to run 5pm-11am everyday. However, recently it seems to be stopping randomly at 9pm every day. I can't figure out why. I have changed the schedule and it still seems to stop at about 9pm. Here are a couple of screenshots. Is there another setting I am missing?

bc,

The only thing that I can think of is that you have an egg-timer set for 4 hours???

Are you doing anything between 5 pm and 9 pm with your phone or remote? Like changing pump speeds or ???

As a test, I'd let the pump come on at 5 pm and then not touch anything and see if the pump still goes off at 9 pm.

Thanks,

Jim R.

Do you have anything else that you are running tied into the pump or "grouped" together that ends at 9pm? Just a thought. I know on my Hayward Prologic I can set certain things to work together (Spa mode turns on pump and heater to 95 and can also have it turn on blower with configuration - when I turn it back to pool those things all turn off). I'm not sure if it's possible with the Screen Logic.

Thanks for the feedback. I tried not touching anything I double checked to make sure I had nothing overlapping with it. The only thing I could think of was the "Egg Timer" was set to 12 hours by default. So I am trying tonight to change it to "Don't Stop". Although it looked to override the schedule when I had it set to turn off today at 11am. Next step will be to call Pentair. Untitled.jpg

bc,

I run my pump 24/7 so I can generate a little chlorine over a longer period of time. Your 18 hours is almost 24/7. I can understand those people that want to run as short a period of time as possible, but I don't see the advantage of running 18 hours over 24..

Obviously, you need to run it for however long you want, just tossing out ideas.

Any particular rational for the 18 hours?

Thanks,

Jim R.

Hi Jim, in Ontario (Canada) we are on "Time of use Pricing". So between 11am and 5pm is peak period and electricity rates are almost 2x the price of other periods. Trying to save a buck. Chlorine levels seemed to be ok until the pump mysteriously started turning off.

bc,

I don't have the "time of use pricing"... I'm pretty lucky because I can run my pump 24/7 for less than $20 American bucks a month...

Another thing you might want to try... is to close out ScreenLogic all the way, then bring it back up and go into the configuration and reset the time and then hit finish..

I can't say that will fix anything but it would be worth a try..

If you figure out what it is, or if Pentair tells you how to fix it, please let us know, as it will help others..

Thanks,

Jim R.

Did not turn off last night. I changed the Egg Timer run time for the "Pool" to match the 18 hours I set the schedule for (5pm-11am). Seemed to work. Curious if anyone else had to change the default time in Egg Timer?
