Schedule 40 DWV

Reading through these forums its been mentioned to use Schedule 40 PVC and avoid DWV for above ground pool plumbing. But what if something is both DWV and Schedule 40 (see links bellow)? Could these be used?

The first link is just for pipe, the pipe needs to be sch40. You can use sch40 for drainage but not the other way around.

The second link is DWV and says it’s not for pressure applications.

A pipe can be dual rated ASTM D 1785 and ASTM D 2665, but it has to say ASTM D 1785 if it's going to be used for pressure.

The pipe should also be labeled NSF-PW (National Sanitation Foundation - Potable Water) and Schedule 40 PVC.

That fitting meets ASTM-1784 which is a general PVC specification not for pressurized usage.

ASTM-1785 is for pressurized applications such as in pool equipment.

ASTM D1785 is for pipe.

ASTM D1784 is the specification for the PVC and is fine.

ASTM D2466 is the correct rating for the fittings.
