Scale and Stain Control Cloudiness

My pool is only about a year old and was perfectly clear until I put Leslie's Ultimate Scale and Stain Control into my pool. Within a few minutes after the addition, the water was completely cloudy, and I can't see the bottom anymore. Is this normal? If not, how do I treat this?
Thanks!

Hello and welcome to TFP! Your situation is not typical. To help us, please post a full set of water test results with your TF-100 or Taylor K-2006 test kit. Also make sure to update your signature with all of your pool and equipment info as all of those factors could also play a role in why you are seeing the cloudiness.

Water Test Results (Taylor Test Kit)
FAC: 3
TAC: 3
Salt: 3300
pH: 7.8
Alkalinity: 110
CH: 270
Phosphates: 0
Iron/Copper: 0

Update: Can see the bottom again after letting it sit for a couple days, still a little foggy but not as bad. Added a little bit of oxidizer to try to clear it and it helped a little. Adding more/trying a clarifier next. Also I'm thinking I'm not supposed to use it on pebble, even though the bottle doesn't say anything about it.

Well, the Scale & Stain Control should have not have caused the cloudiness. I've used several gallons while conducting a bit of an experiment in my pool and never had it do that. I'm wondering if it wasn't a coincidence because your CYA is a bit on the low side for your salt pool. See [FC/CYA][/FC/CYA]. Any chance what you are seeing is the early stages of an algae bloom? Have you tried doing an Overnight Chlorine Loss Test just to be safe?
