Sand/pebbles behind liner on pool wall?

So I just got a new liner and noticed when I run my hand on the wall in some places it feels like there's some gritty feeling areas behind the liner. My pool floor is vermiculite so I'm thinking maybe it's some of that maybe that got on the walls when the old liner was removed. Some spots feel pretty pointy.

Should I be worried?

Ugh. That would drive me crazy. But unless you truly fear that it (whatever it is) is likely to damage your liner, I don’t think I would drain at this point.
