Sand filter valve

I'm wanting to replace my filter valve , it doesn't close properly and is hard to turn but not sure of the type and size I need can anyone help me out

The brand is Waterway. It should be easy to find what you want by googling now.

Make sure it comes with any O-rings you might need. And some pool lube for those O-rings.

Found one on Amazon any clue how much sand I need to use in it . Not finding much about the millennium

I'd check each and every manual on this list and see what they all say or if one in particular is your exact model Instruction Manuals

That looks like a rebranded Waterway Carefree Deluxe Sand Filter. That's a 19" so it takes 200# of filter sand.

Why are you replacing the sand?

Also, you can buy parts for those valves and just rebuild yours.
