Hello, I removed my multi valve on my DynaFlo SD60 sand filter and the pvc center pipe is extending about an inch above the top rim of the tank. I seem to recall it being about an inch below the rim in the past. The multi valve still fits on the tank. It does not move if I pull or push on it. Do I need to be concerned?

Did you re-install the MPV all the way? Sounds like you pulled the centerpipe/laterals up an inch or two when you removed the MPV from it. If that's the case, you'll have to empty out all the sand, remove centerpipe and laterals and put it back in all the way down, and refill the sand (unless some of the more experienced folks on this forum know of a shortcut).
