Salt water pool chemistry balance question

Hello all,
I have a new salt water pool since April and learned how to dial in the chemsity pretty well learning from all of you experts - thank you very much! I am a littel stuck right now with pH and TA always rising. After I add muriatic acid to lower pH, both the pH and TA (which lowered with the acid add too) rise back to higher numbers in a few days. To help slow this down I added Borate (to 50 ppm), let CYA lower, and tried to lower TA (but it keeps rising). All of which I learned from the TFP forums. Below are my current numbers after my last muratic acid add. In a couple days the pH will be >8 (highest I can measure with drops) and TA will be back to like 90. CSI starts getting close to being too high - like >0.3.
Any advice would be appriciated.
FC - 4.5
CC - 0
pH - 7.8
TA - 70
CH - 325
CYA - 30
Salt - 3200
Borate - 50
Temp - 87
CSI - 0.01

Its pretty normal for ph to rise back after knocking it down. The solution is just to give a steady diet of MA like youve been doing.

Its a little wierd that TA is bouncing like that. It takes a lot of acid to lower TA a little bit but once its down it stays there unless you add water or chems which will bring it back up

Yeah - I thought TA going up is strang too. Maybe I'll try to drive it lower and see if it stays there. Thanks

I don’t know if borates impact ta at all. Maybe thats the missing piece. In any case a steady MA diet is pretty common
