Salt v. grass

Not the best thing, but if it drains well and you water or get lots of rain on the grass the salt should dilute.

Is this to drain the pool for ????

No other places to direct the water to?

Yes, to drain. The Intex support struts on one corner sank in the gravel/sand base and the retaining wall (3 blocks high) on the low side has a slight bulge. Instead of 15x12x2 boards under each support, I'll put a 2x12 the length of the side and then place the blocks on top of that. This will require removing 3" of gravel to get the right height. Finally got the pool to the right chemistry and salinity and used it for one day. "Do it right or do it over". I could drain into a storm drain 250' away using a garden hose, but prefer not to take that much time. 8,500 gal.

Dude you're in Alabama, The grass here grows with a vengeance! You pour a little salt water on it and you'd better have the mower ready to run!

When you say field grass, if it's Bahia you'll be seeing the victory signs before you're finished draining.

Seriously, That much water shouldn't hurt it at all.

Thanks. A few days of heavy rain here in July means grass almost too thick to cut in a few days.
