Salt Start Up

The pool servicer came yesterday to do the startup for salt. How long does it take for it to start producing chlorine? I tested today (24 hours later) and had 0 FC. Do I need to supplement with liquid chlorine right now until the SWG catches up and is producing enough?

Yes… A SWG is great for maintaining a FC level. Add enough liquid chlorine to raise the FC ppm. What is your CYA? How are you testing your water chemistry?

Ok I will add liquid chlorine. CYA 60. Using TF-100 pro.
