Salt kit arrived and I did the test. Came to 3200.....

I’m shocked.

That's why we use the K-1766. Maybe you should take it to your neighbor and test his pool water and compare results to his salt meter.

I have a salt meter and about 1 times out of 5 I also test with the K-1766. My salt meter reads 200 ppm lower then the K-1766 gives.

Yes I will let him know. It was just surprising that BOTH his reader and the board indicated the exact same erroneous amount (300 ppm)
