Salt ppm level high

Hello everyone,

I have been using only liquid chlorine in my pool since I remolded it 4 years ago, the pool has always looked perfect, never any alge or problems, I performed the Sodium Chloride test with my Taylor test kit and my salt level is 3500, am I ok with those levels?

That is a normal salt level for a pool with a SWG.

64 oz of 10% liquid chlorine raises your FC by 2.8 and salt by 4.5. Multiply 4.5 * 365 * 4 and you get that salt level.

thanks, my question is do I need to drain my pool or is it ok to have that high of a salt level in a non SWG pool,

If it is safe with a SWG, why wouldn't it be if you do not. No worries. In fact, just add a SWG
