Salt level 3600 last week and 4000 today! Causes?

It says 2 hours above 60 degrees will be good to 180 psi.

It the all purpose glue yellowish and gooey? Just checking. Kind of looked like thick chicken soup.

Flow meter installed but old flow meter not installed. Grabbed the wrong plug from home depot. What is the correct size plug ie what is the flow meter plug size. N.B. 2 flow meters inserted but only one connected and will be removed when I get that plug.
I know its a mess with all the purple stuff but OC aside....I think I did good as it relates to carrying out what I learned from all of you!
With that said, I am open to criticism.

I Every inch of what I am doing is new to me and I am pretty sure the lack of confidence is obvious. It has a shelf life of 3 years. I had just bought another one that was brand new but I may have opened the old one by mistake. Thanks for telling me not to sweat it. Probably fine.
