Question about salt cell life. Just wanted to make sure I understand it. If a cell is rated for 10,000 hours lets just say, does that mean 10,000 hours of 'just being on' So it doesn't matter if you use the cell at 25% or 75% you still get the same 10,000 hours? Or does the percentage matter at all with cell life? Thanks

% does matter. So if you run your SWG for 8 hours a day @ 25%, it is only using 2 hours of the 10,000 hours of life.

If rated at 10,000 hours- that's 10,000 hours when run at 100%.

Most SWGs are either on or off. When set at 50%, the SWG runs at full power for 50% of its programmed run time.

Just realize that you will not likely get “10,000 hours”. That is an idealized figure under optimal test conditions.
