We saw some slight Algae because of the crazy heat we are getting in PA recently, I shocked the pool with 2lbs of shock last night at about 10pm, 22,000 gallon pool. When is it okay to swim? I just took these results from a test.
It is safe to swim so long as fc is between min & slam level for your cya, ph is in the 7’s, & you can see the bottom of the deep end for swimmer safety.
Which for you is anywhere between 2-12ppm fc

* Please note that a one time addition of chlorine is not enough to rid yourself of an algae problem.
You need to do the SLAM Process
With liquid chlorine.
