Everybody has their own way. This is what works for me. This is the small Taylor kit, but the principal could probably apply to all of them. I only remove one container at at time, and put it right back when done. Each test in its own row, and in order of use, closest to farthest. I only remove one cap at a time, too, because each cap is marked with the number of drops to be used. The "X" stands for "times" as in: count the drops and multiply the result. This pic is a bit old, I have since added the multiplier factor to the caps with the Xs. For example, the yellow cap with the "X" now also has "0.5" written on it, so I know to multiply the number of drops by 0.5 to get my FC level. Blue, for example, I start closest to me, take out the first bottle and do 20 drops into the test vial. Cap right back on, bottle right back into the box. Then 5 drops from the next bottle. Then the last bottle I count the drops and multiply that by the number on that bottle's cap (sorry, again, that's not shown in this old pic).
Put some thought into how to organize your kit to make it fast and easy in whatever way works for you. The easier and faster it is to test, the more you're likely to do it. The more you test, the better your water will be.

Others, I'm sure, don't need these types of aids, and can remember all this stuff from session to session. Me, I can't remem... wait, what was I talking about... ??
