Running pool on main drain only?

I have a pool leak so I’m running pool on main drain with skimmer off. What do I do now?

You will need to tell us the whole story..

Where is the leak? Is the water below the skimmer?

Running on the main drain only will not hurt anything, but without a skimmer your pool will soon fill up with all the junk that falls from the sky..

The more you tell us the better our answers can be.
