Run pump for specified period of time (not schedule)

I am using the iaqualink app for automation. I add chemicals to my pool at different days/times depending on when I get to it. I normally run 24/7 at 1750 RPMs but like to run higher RPMs when adding chemicals for better distribution. I would like to NOT have to remember to come back and adjust the RPMs to normal but instead have the system return to normal after a specified period of time (like 2 hours). Any way to program this with something like "on touch" or something else? thanks in advance for thoughtful responses.

008,

Do you have anything called "Egg Timers"??

For Pentair systems, this allows you to manually turn on a Circuit and it will automatically shut off after a set period of time..

That said, there is really no reason to increase the speed when adding chemicals.. It will not make much of a difference, if any at all.

Thanks,

Jim R.

If anything you can likely run lower RPMs, including when you add chemicals. Or at least not need to run 1750 around the clock.

Why did you settle at 1750 ?

I've read about this subject and plan to work my way down.
Start low RPMs and increase 100 at a time until each function starts to work. SWG, heater, skimming, water features, etc. Note each RPM and add 100 RPM to account for slightly less flow as the filter gets dirty. Those are your speeds you *need* to run for those things to work.

My SWG works at 700 RPM, skiming at 1000 and it's so cheap at 1000 (110w) that I splurge all the way to 1500 (210W) for the look/ambiance of more water movement.

Jandy doesn’t offer this functionality. You can add something like the below that will give you that functionality and a lot more.

If you have home assistant running, then their is also an integration from iAqualink to Home Assistant, and you should also be able to do it in home assistant.

For both, you’d basically create a one touch button, assign a VSP speed to that button, then let the
